AVKOTE Anti-Graffiti Cleaners AVKOTE AG has four graffiti cleaners which work on an increasing strength basis. ‘G’ Cleaner, Basic Cleaner, Strip Fluid and Strip Paste. Strip Paste can be diluted with Strip Fluid to give even more strength options. The recommended application process starts with the lowest strength cleaner first and then works up depending on the level of graffiti and the surface to be cleaned. This ensures that the strength selected is the optimum to clean the graffiti without harming the original paint surface. It is recommended that wherever possible a hidden area of the surface to be cleaned is tested with the third strength level cleaner, AG Strip Fluid, to ensure the graffiti disolves without any adverse reaction to the paint surface being cleaned.
Polycarbonate sheet is increasingly used on items prone to graffiti – for example – bus shelters. AVKOTE Graffiti Cleaners are very effective at
graffiti removal from Polycarbonate sheet. It should be noted however that in most instances ‘G’ Cleaner or Basic Cleaner is all that is required for effective removal. The stronger Strip Fluid and Strip Paste cleaners should always be checked for surface compatibility. Polycarbonate sheet can also be coated with Flowseal (single pack). Flowseal’s clear protective coating enables graffiti to be cleaned off Polycarbonate sheet effortlessly with no damage to the substrate.
